| As you watch the countryside slip by from the comfort of your compartment, you will be transported back to the days when trains ran on time and leaves on the line hadn't been invented. Upon arrival at your choice of historic and Cathedral cities, you are free to explore the sights and attractions before the return journey. Included is a delightful picnic hamper, replenished before the return journey, including light snacks and delicacies such as poached chicken salad, lamb koftas and pastries |

| Destinations include Bath, Bristol, Bournemouth, Canterbury, Chichester, Ely, Exeter, Gloucester, Lincoln, Oxford, Norwich, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Sherborne, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Wells, Weymouth and Worcester. All trains depart mid-late morning from mainline London stations and return by approximately 9pm, giving you 3-4 hours to explore the delights your chosen city has to offer. You will receive a light hamper on your way and a more substantial hamper on your return journey. Your seat will be in a compartment for up to six people. |

| On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. This experience is for two people. The voucher will have the contact details to make your booking. Please note that wine is not included but there is an extensive wine list available which is payable directly to the supplier on the day. Locomotives used include 'Black 5', 'Taw Valley', 'Duke of Gloucester', 'King Edward 1', 'Bittern', and 'Standard 5'. The operator reserves the right to vary the locomotives throughout the year and for operational reasons it may be necessary to change locomotives at short notice. A vegetarian meal is available and should be requested at time of booking. |
